چکیده
The main composition and availability of fly ash cause this waste which has potential as an adsorbent to remove ammonium phosphate in water. Difference will different removal efficiency. purposes from research are determine optimal condition for removing concentration the source great solution. conditions were carried out by varying pH solution dosages concentrations initial concentrations. Optimum is 8 with range efficiency 8% 14% 16% 75% higher than phosphate. Ammonium lower have a negative effect on removal. Adsorbent dosage 4.5 g able produce both From five sources ash, Punagaya simultaneously adsorption capacity 7.17 mg/g 19.50 respectively.

Removal of Cr(VI) from Wastewater using Fly ash as an Adsorbent
Cr(VI) is a highly toxic metal ion and considered a priority pollutant released from various chemical industries. Treatment methods to remove Cr(VI) from water and wastewater include chemical precipitation, ion exchange, membrane separation, electro-coagulation and reduction. These methods are not economically viable for large scale treatment of wastewater that is rich in Cr(VI). Adsorption is ...
متن کاملRemoval of Chromium (III) and Arsenic (III) by using Coal Ash as Adsorbent
The adsorption of Cr(III) and As(III) by using coal ash from thermal power plants in batch mode ,The effect of adsorbent agitation speed, dose, pH, contact time and agitation speed on the adsorption of Cr(III) and As(III) by coal ash is examined. Adsorption equilibrium was achieved in 50–55 min. The Langmuir, Temkin and Freundlich adsorption isotherms were used to observed sorption phenomena. T...

Abstract Background: Photocatalytic process is used as a suitable method for o-chlorophenol removal. In this study, the efficiency of a mixture of modified fly ash and TiO2 nanoparticles in photocatalytic removal of o-chlorophenol was evaluated. Methods: After acid washing of fly ash, the absorbent was oxidized with potassium permanganate. ...
متن کاملCoal Ash as a Low Cost Adsorbent for the Removal of Xylenol Orange from Aqueous Solution
The removal ofxylenol orange from aqueous solution onto the coal ash was investigated at room temperature. The results show that the adsorption capacity of xylenol orange increased as the adsorption time increased and then equilibrium established after 30 min adsorption time. The results obtained revealed that the coal ash removed about 80 % of xylenol orange from the aqueous solution withi...
متن کاملInvestigation of arsenic removal parameters by a new nano-hybrid adsorbent produced from red mud and fly ash
Two common waste materials, red mud and fly ash, were used to produce a new nano-hybrid adsorbent by heat treatment with alkali addition. The new zeolitic structure formation of the hybrid adsorbent was revealed using the BET surface area, XRD, and SEM analyses. This hybrid adsorbent was utilized to remove arsenic from synthetic and real waste waters by batch and column adsorption experiments. ...
